Westerbeke 3.8 BCDT generator powers hot water and heat/air conditioning (heat pump).

500 amp hours of house batteries.  Separate engine, generator and windlass batteries.

Navigation Systems

Raymarine GPS, charplotter, radar and wind/depth/speed.  Raymarine autopilot does not work (needs new course computer).

Accommodations

Can accomodate 6 in a 2 person v berth, aft cabin with 2 quarterberths, and the settee serves as a double berth.

Galley Equipment

2 burner dometic non-presurized alcohol stove with oven.  Rail mounted propane grill.  Refrigerator.  Hot and cold water.

Moonglow has been my family's coastal cruising oasis for the last 5 years.  She is fully equiped to cruise immediately.  She is very spacious for our family of 4 and has easily held 6 people for long cruises.

Moonglow is a yawl and, therefore, is incredibly balanced under sail.  I often trim the sails and lock the wheel for minutes at a time.  Her chief quality is how she sails.  She is also very seaworthy and her long overhangs allow her to sit undisturbed in busy harbors.

Moonglow was built in 1965 and has one of the first fiberglass production hulls (no core--all fiberglasss) but she also retains her original spruce spars and some original winches.

Moonglow will soon need a new mainsail and jib.  She has a good mizzen, mizzen staysail, spinnaker, drifter and storm jib.  There are other projects on my todo list for her.  A new owner could cruise her immeidately and work on the list (what I do), or take a couple of months to bang out the major projects.  Todo list will be provided to interested buyers.
