This boat is in great condition overall. The seller took his time and did it right in his refurbishment of the vessel. Care and thoughtfulness are evident throughout while keeping to the spirit of the boat's original design. As much original hardware and parts as possible have been retained, making this a unique classic that after nearly 60 years will still provide many more years of service to its next owners. Before painting, the seller took the hull down to the fiberglass surface and found no evidence of any repairs to the hull, no soft spots, no blisters, no bondo. This hull is SOLID.

Through 1967 the Century Resorters were all built using old-time shipbuilding practices and materials, but in 1968 Century did something new and switched to fiberglass construction. Unlike today's boats, these first-generation fiberglass boats had hulls as thick as the old wood ones, hand-laid with a ton of resin making them rock hard and tough as nails.
