Port Xavier Colonna

It's easy to understand why Calvi is Corsica's second most important town for tourism as you wander through the colourful narrow streets of its lower town. The marina, situated in Calvi's port district, is very popular with visitors who can take stroll along its quays exchanging pleasantries with local fisherman.Shops, arts and crafts workshops, restaurant terraces and grocery stores all open directly onto the port, providing an attractive and picturesque backdrop to the yachts moored in front of them. Also on view at the port is the Tour de Sel, a 13C watchtower in which once stored salt.To the west of the port only a stones throw away you can find Calvi's main beach which stretches for 5km.
